OUR FACTS

BARHALES, BIRMINGHAM RESILIENCE PROJECT

• Supply of 80,000 tonnes of recycled 6F2 aggregate to the 33 road crossings between Stourport and Frankly.

 

• This was required in order to create access points to enable pipes to be delivered to the fields.

 

• Supply of vehicles to carry out the haulage of materials from various sites along the 26km pipeline to other points. • Removal of sands generated from various tunnelling operations including the 520m Wilden tunnel.

 

• Removal of aggregate from road crossings after the installation of the pipes. This material was returned to Wilden and recycled for the second time.
